Get to Know Us

Hey sis! I'm Rondelle Martin, the founder of Kingdom Girl Collective (formerly Single & Saved in the City). I'm a single mother, a disciple of Christ, a creative, and a lover of community. I'm originally from Washington, DC, lived in Atlanta for 5 years, and now I'm an expat.

It was upon moving to Atlanta that I experienced the toughest and loneliest season of my life, and part of that was due to the lack of genuine friends and community. At this point in my journey my singleness began to really weigh on me too. I truly desired to have a group of single women that I can do life with and who also loved God. In June 2020, God began putting it on my heart to start a community for other single Christian women like myself. I put it off until August 2022, and it was at that point that Single & Saved in the City was formed. We started out with regular meetups in the Atlanta, GA area. The community was growing so fast and women from all across the United States were joining. So at this point we also started doing regular virtual meetups.

Eventually, I felt the unction to help single women deepen their self-development when it comes to their faith, finances, physical and mental fitness, etc. After all, I truly believe that our singleness is a blessing and shouldn't be spent hyper-focusing on when marriage will happen. There is a blessing in the journey at every stage in life. This was the turning point at which regular workshops and summits were introduced into Single & Saved in the City.

However, God had another pivot in mind. In June 2024 I began feeling the pull to open up Single & Saved in the City to women in all relationship statuses. I began noticing that a lot of Christian wives still did not feel like they had community that understood them. They felt like they were not being truly embraced in traditional ministries, but they also were past the stage of being knee-deep in the world. There was a need for a safe space to be vulnerable and real in their faith walk, while still being sharpened. Before I knew it, there were several wives who requested to be a part of Single & Saved in the City. That was the confirmation I needed to finalize the pivot.

It was at this point that Kingdom Girl Collective was birthed---a community for Christian women who are passionate about growing in purpose, self-development, and sisterhood. This is a space where Christian women (whether single, married, or in between) can do life together authentically, can glean from one another, and can truly support one another. There is no clique-ish energy here, no airs because we all are works in progress, and a genuine heart for growth and community at its core. We truly believe in exemplifying Titus 2 in KGC because your life journey and experiences are not for you alone. We are empowered when we share our experiences and journeys with one another.

Our mission is to foster a culture of unity amongst women in different seasons of life while being a resourceful, supportive, and transformative global community. We encourage and empower women to live life in purpose and on purpose whether through a virtual or in-person event, through networking and support opportunities, or by providing resources to help sharpen women and push them towards their destiny.

All in all, it's my honor to have the opportunity to run this community and provide a safe space for other women in Christ to be embraced, seen, and heard. I hope that you will connect with us and join us in our events and more. I can't wait to get to know you, sis! God bless!
